with Anne Longmore of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir
This presentation will take you through key marketing concepts for your choir and provide you with best practices along with practical tools and resources so you can build an effective marketing program with limited time and budget. There will be a particular focus on key online tools, including your use of website, emails and social media.

Anne Longmore is a strategic communications specialist for the cultural sector, helping cultural organizations to be relevant and successful. She has developed and managed integrated marketing campaigns and strategic communications initiatives for various arts organizations. She is currently director of marketing for the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir (TMC). New initiatives that Anne has undertaken for the TMC include developing the TMC’s concert webcast programming, creating an active social media presence for the Choir, and managing the Choir’s participation in the Intrinsic Impact Audience Project. She also teaches strategic communications planning in the Humber College post-graduate public relations program. Anne received a Masters in Arts Administration from the College Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati.
