Windsor Choral Festival – United In Song 2019
April 11th to 13th, Windsor, Ontario
Join us for a weekend of workshops, choral clinics hosted by Dr. Adam Adler and the finale concert featuring a massed choir singing “The Hour Has Come” by Srul Irving Glick at the Capitol Theatre on April 13th. Music workshops with a choral focus are open to the public – stay tuned to https://windsorclassicchorale.org/windsor-choral-festival/ for details.
Be “united in music” as you surround yourself with all who share a love of music. This is a space for choral singers, music educators, music students and classroom teachers. Attend workshops with experts on various aspects of music. Network with musicians and music educators at all levels, and meet some new and interesting people.
By participating in the festival you will:
- receive a clinic with your choral ensemble (previously registered) from Dr. Adam Adler, or simply sit in the audience and learn from our wonderful clinician
- receive access to various music education workshops at the new SoCA building throughout the day on Saturday, April 13
- mingle with fellow singers/music educators at a luncheon ($15) on Saturday at St. Alphonsus Church Hall
- attend the “United in Song” concert at the Capitol Theatre Saturday night, featuring choral ensembles from the Windsor/Essex county and Chatham areas (donation at the door)
