Whether we look skyward to navigate our journeys or to find our place in the universe, we are all born stargazers. This star-themed choral programme takes up our eternal conversation with the cosmos in glorious music by Mendelssohn, Poulenc, Dove, Ešenvalds, Balfour and others. For those attending in person, the evening includes a pre-concert lecture, “Charting the stars across cosmic time,” by University of Toronto cosmologist Renée Hložek, and skywatching (weather permitting) led by members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Those attending by livestream will have access to the concert until January 5, 2025.
