Join 60+ musicians on the opening night of the new COLLINGWOOD SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL!
The Elmer Iseler Singers celebrate their 40th anniversary together with Collingwood’s very own ChoralWorks chorus and the new Collingwood Festival Orchestra.
The program begins with the spirited beauty of Mozart’s Divertimento in F major led by internationally renowned violinist Mayumi Seiler. Upon hearing a standard selection of choral works by the award-winning Elmer Iseler singers, we will be delighted by Hermann’s virtuosic Capriccio written for 3 violins. The concert ends on a festive note with Beethoven’s majestic Choral Fantasy for chorus, piano, orchestra and soloists.
