The grand premiere will bring together non-professional choirs from all over the world to compete for Bronze, Silver or Gold Medals, or for the ultimate highlight of the event – the World Choral Cup, awarded for the first time.
The competition offers ten categories, including Musica Sacra a cappella or with accompaniment; Gospel, Spiritual, Music of Spirit & Faith; Pop, Jazz, Show; and Folklore a cappella or with accompaniment. For the non-competitive souls out there, the event also offers Evaluation Performances, Individual Coaching sessions, and Friendship Concerts.
SING FOR GOLD will take place in the beautiful sunny spots of Calella and Barcelona, two popular touristic destinations known for their sandy beaches, hospitality, Catalan roots and special Spanish flair. The event follows a decade-long story of success on the Spanish coast so much loved by choirs from all over the world.
