The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, under the direction of conductor David Fallis, presents a program that brings together two rich choral traditions: the French subtlety of Messiaen, Poulenc and Martin; and the mystical traditions of Eastern Europe and Russia, with music by Kodaly, Rachmaninoff, Penderecki and Schnittke. Enjoy the concert in the visual and acoustic splendor of St. Anne’s — the Group-of-Seven-decorated church.
