Atlantic Voices celebrates Labrador in a concert entitled ‘Music From the Big Land’. Join the ‘Newfoundland and Labrador Choir of Ottawa’ on January 27 (3:00 p.m. at Centretown United Church) as we turn our gaze northward to sing of the stunning landscapes of the place and of those hardy people who call it home.
Centretown United Church, 507 Bank Street, Showtime 3:00 p.m., with pre show entertainment by The Fumblin’ Fingers starting at 2:15 pm. A silent auction and reception with light refreshments follow the show.
Tickets $20 in advance or $25 at the door while available. Advance tickets can be purchased at The Leading Note, 370 Elgin Street, through Eventbrite or by calling 613-722-9240. I will also have tickets until Friday January 25.
Parking at Glashan School, and at several paid lots on Catherine St. from O’Connor St. to Kent St.
