A pilgrimage is a journey toward something we cannot always yet see, a journey shaped by hope, uncertainty, longing and faith. A Pilgrimage of Light brings together a cappella choral music from five centuries to trace that journey: from joyful proclamation, through contemplation and darkness, toward renewal and illumination.
The program features music by Anton Bruckner, Samuel Barber, Francis Poulenc and Eric Whitacre.
