The Oakville Choir for Children and Youth, one of Canada’s leading choral music education programs for young singers ages 4 to 24, is searching for section leads to work with our Raise Her Voice and A Few Good Men programs. The section lead positions are designed to give singers professional experience in working with young people in our OC choral programs under the direction of Artistic Director, Dr. Sarah Morrison, Associate Music Director, Dr. Charlene Pauls, and AFGM Director, Dave Anderson. Section Leads will be involved in a variety of roles, in consultation with the conductors, including vocal coaching, musicianship training, and sectional support.

Ideal candidates for these positions will be studying music at the post-secondary level or have extensive choral experience and have a keen interest in working with young people in choral music education settings including through vocal role modeling, vocal coaching, and social mentorship.
