Mississauga Festival Choir has an opportunity to join the Board of Directors of this dynamic organization. As the Marketing & Communications Director, you would be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of marketing & social media strategies to promote our family of choirs, including the design & creation of print material for our concerts. Candidates for this unpaid, volunteer position would ideally have prior experience in this capacity, preferably with similar arts organizations. MCS Chorus has openings for Altos, Tenors and Basses
MCS Chorus is an auditioned SATB chamber choir, performing a wide variety of choral music, with an emphasis on classical repertoire. We offer a diversified season of extensive community engagement events and ticketed concerts performed with chamber orchestras, instrumental ensembles and soloists.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, 7:15-10:00pm at St. Andrew’s Memorial Presbyterian Church, 24 Stavebank Road North, Mississauga beginning the first Tuesday after Labour Day, and continue through to the end of May.

Mississauga Children’s Choir: Senior Choir Accompanist
Entering it’s 40th season, the Mississauga Children’s Choir (MCC) is
committed to providing quality music education and performance
opportunities to children aged 4-18. Our choristers are exposed to a
variety of repertoire and are taught fundamental music skills such as
theory and sight-singing. We have four age and skill-based leveled
choirs totaling in over 100 voices. We are currently seeking a
passionate and experienced accompanist for our most advanced choir,
Senior Choir.
Job Details
•Weekly rehearsals are Wednesdays from 5:45 PM – 8:30 PM,
September-June in Mississauga
•There will be one additional Friday rehearsal per month.
•Selected candidate must commit to performing in all MCC concerts (on
average four a year).
•Selected candidate must attend extra Senior Choir events, such as a
few Saturday workshops and one overnight retreat per year.
•Selected candidate must work in collaboration with Artistic Director
and Senior Choir Conductor Jennifer Tung to create the best musical
product and learning experience possible for choristers.
Minimum Requirements
•Bachelor Degree in Music
•Prior experience working as a Collaborative Pianist
